Welcome to Space Education. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at www.spacereschool.comand our online real estate prelicensing and continuing education courses (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or purchasing a course, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Space Education

Space Education is operated by Zhichao Chen, a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker, providing online prelicensing and continuing education courses for the Massachusetts real estate salesperson license.

2. Eligibility & Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register and purchase a course.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Sharing account credentials is prohibited and may result in termination.

3. Courses & Products

We currently offer three products:

  • Full Course ($599): The complete 40-hour Massachusetts real estate salesperson prelicensing program (20 hours recorded + 20 hours live instructor-led sessions), AI tutor access, full question bank, and a downloadable Certificate of Completion upon meeting the 40-hour requirement.
  • CE Class ($99): 12 hours of Massachusetts continuing education for licensed agents/brokers renewing their license, plus AI tutor access and a CE completion certificate.
  • Question Bank ($29.99): Access to the full mock exam question bank with detailed explanations and AI-assisted explanations for incorrect answers.

All courses are delivered online. Live class times are announced via email and shown in your dashboard. Each purchase grants you lifetime access to the product you bought, subject to these Terms.

4. Payment

We use Stripe to process payments. By making a purchase, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method for the full amount. All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Course completion does not guarantee that you will pass the PSI Massachusetts real estate exam or be issued a license by the Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure. Licensing decisions are made solely by the state board.

5. Refunds

Please review our Refund Policy for details. In summary, refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase and before you have completed more than 25% of the course content.

6. Anti-Skip & Hour Tracking

Course hours are tracked using anti-skip technology. The hours reported toward your 40-hour or 12-hour completion requirement reflect time you actually watched, not the runtime of the videos. Attempting to manipulate hour tracking may result in suspension of your account and forfeiture of any certificate.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content — videos, lecture slides, question bank, written materials — is the intellectual property of Space Education / Zhichao Chen, protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or share any course content with third parties.
  • Use course content to create competing courses or training materials.
  • Record, download, or copy live class sessions or video lectures without prior written consent.

Your license to access the Service is personal, non-transferable, and revocable. Violations may result in account termination without refund and legal action.

8. AI Tutor ("Xiao Chen" / 小陈)

Our AI tutor uses Anthropic Claude to assist with practice questions and concept explanations. AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally contain errors. The AI tutor is a study aid only and does not replace official Massachusetts real estate exam materials or legal advice. Always verify critical information against state-issued sources or with a licensed attorney.

9. Live Classes

Live classes are conducted via Zoom. Attendance is recorded manually by the instructor. To receive credit toward the 20-hour live requirement, you must either attend live or watch the recorded replay (which is tracked through our anti-skip system). Recordings remain available for the lifetime of your account access.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Disrupt live classes (e.g., spamming chat, inappropriate behavior).
  • Misuse the AI tutor for non-educational purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to administrative areas or other students' accounts.
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. In cases of severe violations (fraud, copyright infringement, abuse), no refund will be issued.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Space Education and Zhichao Chen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Norfolk County, Massachusetts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
